Цель. Оценить информативность биопсии околоушной слюнной железы (ОУЖ) при диагностике саркоидоза. Материал и методы. У 15 больных (4 мужчины и 11 женщин) с предполагаемым диагнозом саркоидоза проведена биопсия ОУЖ. Пациенты были сгруппированы по принципу наличия увеличенных слюнных желез. Результаты. С учетом клинико-инструментальных данных и обнаруженных морфологических изменений в 20% случаев (n=3) был поставлен диагноз мультифокального фибросклероза, в 80% (n=12) - саркоидоза. Биопсия ОУЖ дала возможность установить гистологически верифицированный диагноз в группе больных с увеличенными ОУЖ (n=6) в 100% случаев (50% - саркоидоз, 50% - мультифокальный фибросклероз); в группе пациентов без увеличения желез (n=9) саркоидоз был диагностирован в 67% случаев. У больных саркоидозом в активной фазе заболевания (n=6) эпителиоидно-клеточные гранулемы обнаруживались в 100% случаев, в фазе ремиссии (n=6) - у 50% пациентов. Выводы. Биопсия ОУЖ обладает высокой диагностической ценностью и может быть использована в диагностике саркоидоза.

Objective: To assess the informative value of parotid gland (PG) biopsy in the diagnosis of sarcoidosis. Subjects and methods. PG biopsy was made in 15 patients (4 males and 11 females) with a presumptive diagnosis of sarcoidosis. The patients were grouped by the presence of PG enlargement. Results. By taking into account clinicoinstrumental data and found morphological changes, three (20%) and 12 (80%) patients were diagnosed as having multifocal fibrosclerosis and sarcoidosis, respectively. PG biopsy could establish a histologically verified diagnosis in 100% of cases (that of sarcoidosis (50%) and multifocal fibrosclerosis (50%) in the enlarged PG group (n=6)); sarcoidosis was diagnosed in 67% of cases in the non-enlarged PG group (n=9). Epithelioid cell granulomas were detectable in 100 and 50% of the patients with sarcoidosis in its active (n=6) and remission (n=6) phases, respectively. Conclusion. PG biopsy is of high diagnostic value and may be used in the diagnosis of sarcoidosis.
