Показано, что наиболеезначимыми предикторами прогрессирования заболевания являются: женский пол, интенсивная боль в коленных суставах, наличие синовита, деформация суставов, повышенный индекс массы тела, травмы в анамнезе, высокие значения минеральной плотности кости осевого скелета и субхондральных отделов бедренной и большеберцовой костей, наличие отека костного мозга. Несмотря на множество проведенных исследований по выявлению факторов риска прогрессирования гонартроза, результаты остаются противоречивыми и требуют дальнейшего его исследования.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The present review is devoted to the problem of progression of the knee osteoarthritis. It has been shown that the most important predictors of the disease progression are female gender, strong knee pain, synovitis,deformation of joints, high body mass index, previous traumas, high bone mineral density of the axial skeleton and subchondral parts of femur and tibia, bone marrow edema.
