Бишкек Кыргызской Республики с учетом факторов риска.</p><sec><title>Материал и методы</title><p>Материал и методы. Обследовано 200 жителей низкогорья (средний возраст 56,9±1,7 года). Минеральную плотность кости (МПК) определяли с помощью двухэнергетической рентгеновской абсорбциометрии.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Среди пациентов с низкой МПК хроническая обструктивная болезнь легких (ХОБЛ) встречалась почти в 2 раза чаще, чем в контрольной группе (в 63,0% и 34,8% случаев соответственно; p&lt;0,001), несмотря на одинаковую частоту курения. Другими независимыми предикторами низкой МПК были прием глюкокортикоидов и возраст.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Наличие ХОБЛ является независимым фактором риска развития остеопении/остеопороза даже после поправок на возраст и другие известные факторы риска остеопении у жителей низкогорья Кыргызской Республики.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The aim of the study was to identify the relationship between bone mineral density disorders and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease among residents of Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, taking into account risk factors.</p><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. 200 residents of lowland (mean age 56,9±1,7 years) were examined. Bone mineral density (BMD) was determined by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) was almost 2-fold more common among patients with low BMD than healthy controls (63.0% and 34.8% of cases, respectively; p&lt;0.001), despite the same frequency of smoking. Other independent predictors of low BMD were glucocorticoid intake and age.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
