Среди наиболее актуальных вопросов – возможность влияния БДПК на риск сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний (ССЗ) и смертность. К предполагаемым причинам, способствующим развитию ССЗ, относятся микрокристаллическое воспаление и патологическая кальцификация сосудов благодаря общности механизмов суставной и сосудистой кальцификации. Эти предположения подтверждаются данными нескольких кросс-секционных исследований, показавших независимую прямую связь БДПК с исходами ССЗ, но без влияния БДПК на сердечно-сосудистую смертность. Возможно, отсутствие связи БДПК с сердечно-сосудистой смертностью при одновременно высокой частоте сердечно-сосудистых событий объяснимо приемом колхицина, а также физиологическими антиинфекционными эффектами интерлейкина 1. Важен дальнейший поиск механизмов, связывающих БДПК с ССЗ, и терапии, направленной на профилактику ССЗ при этом заболевании.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Calcium pyrophosphate deposition disease (CPPD) is a disease associated with inflammation at the sites of deposition of calcium pyrophosphate crystals, is at the same time one of the most widespread and least well-studied rheumatic diseases. Among the most pressing issues is the possibility of CPPD influencing the risk of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) and mortality. The suspected causes contributing to the development of CVDs include microcrystalline inflammation and pathological vascular calcification, due to the common mechanisms of articular and vascular calcification. These assumptions are supported by data from several cross-sectional studies that have shown an independent direct association of CPPD with CVDs outcomes, but without the influence of CPPD on cardiovascular mortality. It is possible that the lack of association of CPPD with cardiovascular mortality with a high frequency of cardiovascular events at the same time is explained by the intake of colchicine, as well as the physiological anti-infective effects of interleukin 1.
