Abstract
Summary Relation between rheumatoid factor (RF) and levels of Myeloperoxidase (MPO), Na*-K +-A TPh- ase (ATPh-ase), 5'-Nucleotidase (5 ’-NT), Succinate dehydrogenase (SDG) in cells of peripheral blood of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients was investigated. 83 RA patients were observed. The activities of MPO, ATP-ase, 5’NT, SDG in blood cells were determined by hystochemical methods. In patients having increasing MPO activity in monocytes, normal level of SDG in lymphocytes and decreasing of 5'NT in monocytes and lymphocytes increasing of RF level was noted in 3 weeks after hystochemical changes (p<0.05). Determination of MPO in monocytes was the most informative test for forecasting of immunological changes in RA. The role of macrophage system in RA is discussed.

Abstract
Summary Our aim was to study the clinical efjicacy of Rapten rapid, its effect on the activity of inflammatory process, parameters of immunity in rheumatoid arthritis as compared with other widely used NSAIDs: sodium diclofenac, Indometacin, Ibuprofen and also to clarify the mechanism of action of above drugs. The study included 110 RA patients which were divided into 4 groups. Pts of the I s' group toolc Rapten rapid (n=50), 2 ml - sodium diclofenac (n—20), 3d - Indometacin (n—20), 4' h - Ibuprofen (n—20). Al the result of the study it was found that Rapten rapid effectively reduces pain syndrome in rheumatoid arthritis, does not give preference to other anti-inflammatory drugs on analgetic and anti-inflammatory effect, has positive influence on laboratory indices of inflammation rendering thus more speedy analgetic effect demonstrated averagely 2 days faster as compared with other NSAJDs. Frequency of side-effects during Rapten rapid application does not reliably differ from other NSAIDs. Rapten rapid possesses immunomodulatory effect demonstrated by decreasing the level of serum IgA, activity of 5‘nucleotidase in lymphocytes, neutrophils, monocytes and myeloperoxidase in monocytes.

Abstract
Summary Aim: to assess the efficacy and tolerability of Consupren (Galena, Chekia ) in some rheumatic diseases. Material and methods. Three months’ therapy by Consupren was studied in 12 patients: 4 with SLE, 4 with Behcet’s disease, 2 with rheumatoid arthritis with systemic manifestations, 2 with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Sandimmune therapy was changed for Consupren in 9 patients. All patients were controlled for the level of serum creatinine and AD and had consultations with ophtalmologist. Results. 3 SLE patients treated by Consupren demonstrated decreasing of proteinuria, disease activity by SLAM and SLEDA1, the fourth patient demonstrated fading of diskoid rash and normalizing of temperature. Patients with Behcet’s disease had no episodes of ulcerous stomatitis and uveitis exacerbation, in one patient stable nodular erythema disappeared. Patients with JRA improved articular syndrome, normalized temperature, reduced acute phase indices. Both patients continue taking Consupren, RA patients had long term of onset of the disease and 111-IV radiological stage , thus the effect on the articular syndrome was not so demonstrative but the activity of the disease reduced. Conclusion: consupren is effective and well tolerable drug for patients with systemic manifestations of rheumatic diseases. No side effects were noticed.

Abstract
Objective. Study of the efficacy and tolerability of Structum in pts with gonarthritis and coxarthritis during 6 months therapy. Material. Open multicentral study included off -patients of both sexes with osteoarthritis (ОЛ) of knee and hip joints with obvious pain syndrome - pain in walking 30 mm and more on visual analog scale, functional Lesquene index more or equal to 4 and less or equal toll, regular NSAIDs taking for 30 days for the last 3 months, radiological I-II-III OA stage according Kellgren-Lawrence and consent of the patient for the study. Total number of pts included was 555 and 192 out of them were experimental group and 363 - controls. Pts from experimental group had Structum - three capsules in the morning and 3 capsules in the evening during meals (one capsule - 250 mg) for 3 weeks, then 2 capsules in the morning and 2 in the evening for 21 weeks. Clinical examination of pts was done after the third and sixth month of the treatment. Results. During Structum therapy reliable lessening of pain syndrome in knee and hip joints, improvement of articular function, decrease of NSAIDs dosage or their full cancellation were demonstrated. It was noticed that the assessment of clinical Structum efficacy and tolerability bu physician and patient coincided. Conclusion. Structum (chondroitin sulfate) is a new effective drug for treatment of osteoarthritis of knee and hip joints with high clinical efficacy and good tolerability

Abstract
Summary The aim of the study is the substantiation of movement regimen for children with JCA and damage of hip joints. 20 patients with prevalent hip joints damages in clinical picture were examined. Clinical, laboratory, anthropometric methods and U-sound diagnostics were used. Basing on the analysis of anamnestic, clinical data and U-sound examination the regimen of loads for patients with hip joints damage was substantiated. Method of Junctional treatment was suggested including the treatment by position, exercise therapy in combination with gradually increasing regimen of locomotive loads, its efficacy was assessed.

Abstract
Aim: to allot clinical forms of juvenile systemic scleroderma (JSSD). Material and methods: investigation and dynamic observation of 60 patients aged 14-54 (mean age 25.1 ±7.2) with onset of disease in child's and adolescent’s ages from 1 to 16 years old ( in average 11. 4±3.8 year old) and disease duration from 1 to 39 years (in average 13.1 ±7.9). Results: 55% of patients demonstrated JSSD subtype with focal cutaneous lesion of different localization. The possibility of overlap-syndrome development in JSSD patients with onset in adolescent age typical for SSD-rheumatoid arthritis, SSD-polymvositis should be underlined. Conclusion: knowledge of different clinical forms and courses of the disease, modern diagnostics and early beginning of differential JSSD treatment will enable us to improve the prognosis and disease outcome.
